JEWISH FEDERATION HIRES REBECCA BRASK AS CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR AND ADAM LEVY AS PUBLIC RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

posted October 18, 2018

I am pleased to announce the hiring of 2 vibrant individuals who will join the Federation family at a senior level on November 1, 2018.

Rebecca Brask as Campaign Director

Rebecca has extensive experience with fundraising development, strategic planning, and strengthening donor relationships. Her previous positions include Manager of Community Programs with McNally Robinson, Development Manager with Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Community Partnerships and Volunteer Engagement Officer with the Children’s Hospital Foundation, as well as Cultural Arts Communications Manager and Program Manager with the Rady JCC. She has completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Winnipeg and the Fundamentals of Fundraising Certificate with Red River Community College. She has a proven ability to write grant and sponsorship proposals, donor appeal letters, and create social media campaigns. We look forward to utilizing Rebecca’s creativity and progressive thinking as we formulate our strategies for the future success of the campaign and the involvement of our next generation of donors.

Adam Levy as Public Relations and Communications Director

Adam comes to us with multitude of effective communication strategy development experience through his previous positions as a Marketing and Communications professional at Teshmont Consultants, 6P Marketing, and The Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. His knowledge and understanding of Israel, antisemitism and ability to adapt complex subject matters into accessible and clear communication pieces will be crucial for education and transparency to ensure our voice is heard in matters of importance to the Winnipeg Jewish community. Adam is a graduate from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Economics and Management. Adam’s strong relationship building skills will help ensure our continued success when meeting with Government, other ethno-cultural communities, as well as amongst our Jewish community.

We welcome Rebecca and Adam and wish them success in their new roles!
